SUPPORT OUR YOUNG ATHLETES BY BUILDING POSITIVITY

We're dedicated to a positive environment where every player enjoys ball hockey. As parents and spectators, your role is vital. The principles below highlight our shared values, emphasizing sportsmanship, effort, and respect. Together, let's make every game a positive and memorable experience for our young athletes.

Parent and Spectator Code of Conduct

At MBHL, we are committed to creating a positive environment where every player can enjoy ball hockey. As parents and spectators, your role is essential in fostering a supportive and respectful atmosphere. The principles below reflect our shared values, focusing on sportsmanship, effort, and respect. Together, let’s make every game a positive and memorable experience for our young athletes.

1. Support and Encourage
I will offer positive encouragement to all players, recognizing their effort and progress, regardless of the outcome of the game.

2. Respect for Coaches, Officials, and Players
I will respect the decisions made by coaches and officials and will encourage fair play and respectful behavior toward all participants.

3. Promote Good Sportsmanship
I will model good sportsmanship for my child and others, emphasizing the importance of playing with integrity, win or lose.

4. Focus on Fun and Effort
I will prioritize the fun and enjoyment of the game over competition, understanding that skill development, making friends, and trying your best are just as important as winning.

5. Respectful Behavior
I will maintain a respectful attitude toward all participants, including players, coaches, and other spectators, fostering an atmosphere of mutual respect and inclusivity.

6. No Negative Comments
I will refrain from making negative or critical comments toward players, coaches, or officials, understanding that this can create a negative atmosphere for everyone involved.

7. Model Respect for Diversity
I will celebrate the diversity of our players, supporting an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and respected.

8. Ensure Safety and Well-Being
I will ensure that my child is safe, prepared, and ready for participation, while supporting the overall safety of the environment for all athletes.

By adhering to this Code of Conduct, we can help ensure that MBHL remains a place where all players can grow, enjoy the game, and create lasting memories. Let’s work together to make every game a positive experience for everyone.
